The problem

Two businesses wearing one coat: a Kitchener atelier selling custom perfume-making workshops, and a fragrance catalogue sold by the bottle. Most sites are built for one or the other.

What we built

Workshop bookings, corporate events and gift cards running through the same checkout as the bottles
Catalogue with variable pricing by size, structured so a growing SKU count doesn't collapse the filtering
Product feed mapped into Google Merchant Center, Site Kit and Meta tracking wired in at build time
Autoplaying video hero with separate desktop and mobile cuts, so phones never download the wide file
First-order capture with a coupon issued and emailed on the spot
Comparison and allergen disclosure sections written to survive the trademark scrutiny this category attracts

OG Scents

Fragrance house & kit builder · 2026

The problem

A fragrance house with a hundred-plus bottles and one hard commercial problem: single sales at $39 don't build a business. The whole storefront had to move people from one bottle to eight without ever feeling like an upsell.

What we built

Build-a-Kit tray that follows you across the entire site, add from a set, a mood, a note or the shop, and it lands in the same tray
8-piece kit as the hero offer: 4 × 50ml + 4 × 10ml, with the tier discount resolving automatically as bottles drop in
Email-gated club code that takes the kit from $149 to $99, capped at two per order
Four ways into the catalogue, curated sets, mood, individual note, and collection, so nobody has to already know what they want
Customer-composed bundles submitted, named and published to a public shelf, turning merchandising into something buyers do
Editorial product pages with cursor-reveal and scroll choreography, held under the mobile performance budget

The problem

Not a website, a terminal. Most retail tools show open interest and call it positioning. This had to compute the greeks properly, refresh while a session is running, and stay fast enough to be worth opening during market hours.

What we built

Closed-form Black-Scholes engine, delta, gamma, vega and analytical vanna, validated against textbook values
Dealer gamma exposure on the standard convention, reconciled to the dollar against published SpotGamma figures
Two pipelines feeding one screen: live options positioning on a 30-second cadence, SEC filings synced twice daily
Form 4, 13F and STOCK Act disclosures parsed from EDGAR, with the reporting lag surfaced, including filings past the 45-day deadline
19 analysis views across 62 pre-warmed tickers, so a view opens in under a second instead of waiting on a chain fetch
Account-gated terminal with every data endpoint behind auth, on a monitored VPS rather than shared hosting

The BA Network

Specialist BA recruitment & training · 2025

The problem

A specialist recruitment firm competing against generalist agencies and job boards. The site had to prove domain expertise within seconds, to two audiences who want opposite things, employers hiring, and analysts looking for work.

What we built

Two funnels running side by side without either burying the other: hire talent, and drop your CV
Role and sector taxonomy covering every BA specialisation and nine industries, so a visitor finds their own situation on the page
Placement counts surfaced per sector rather than as one vanity number
Video hero built into the theme, not bolted on through a plugin
Four-step process laid out explicitly, because the whole pitch is rigour over bulk CV dumps

4one6 Vape

Vape retail, Toronto · 2025

The problem

A basement shop on Dundas St W with no street presence, in a category where price, tax and what may legally be shown all change by province. It had to look like a destination, not a compliance form, and it had to be findable.

What we built

Age gate that captures date of birth AND province before the site opens, then holds that province for the whole session
Province selector in the header that changes pricing and what's shown, because vaping duty and flavour rules differ by province
Age gate and 19+ handling worked into the design rather than bolted on as a plugin overlay
Same-day GTA delivery surfaced at product level, with the free threshold stated on the buy button
New Drops, Promos and Rewards built as their own merchandising surfaces, so weekly stock changes don't need a developer
Full-bleed 4K video hero and typography that carries the shop's own identity through a category that usually looks generic
Local SEO built in: geo meta, a delivery-area list covering eighteen GTA neighbourhoods, and an FAQ answering the questions that actually get typed into Google
319 products across seven categories, with bundle-and-save tiers resolving in the cart

Elevated Indian dining, London ON · 2026

The problem

An elevated Indian restaurant in London, Ontario losing a cut of every order to delivery platforms, and being presented to new customers through a third-party listing page it didn't control.

What we built

Direct ordering priced deliberately below the delivery platforms, stated plainly on the menu page, no middlemen, no added fees
Table reservations handled on the site instead of over the phone
Menu structured around how the kitchen actually cooks, tandoor, slow-cooked classics, cocktails
Reserve and Order Online sitting side by side in the header, so both intents are one tap from anywhere
Gallery carrying the room, the signage and the plating, for this restaurant the interior is half the offer

Bar & Indian kitchen, London ON · 2026

The problem

A bar and Indian kitchen with three different things to sell in any given week, a dinner offer, a festival menu, and ticketed live events. Sending three emails would burn the list.

What we built

The Weekly: one recurring send carrying every offer, running to issue 96 and counting
A standing insider offer that changes every Tuesday, redeemed by showing the email to a server, trackable without a coupon system
Festival menus extended past the festival and re-sold to the list rather than quietly expiring
Ticketed events given full treatment inside the email, menu, dress code, seating policy, door times, so the booking question is answered before it's asked
Dark-mode-safe build tested across the clients that actually break email design

Social Cue

Sports bar & dine-in, Mississauga · 2026

The problem

A dine-in restaurant and sports bar open until 3am, with the hardest version of the hospitality problem: big fixture nights fill the room, and the quiet Tuesdays in between don't.

What we built

“Departures” campaign built as an airport board, billiards, game night, late kitchen and big screens each given a gate, a departure time and a status
Every one of the venue's four draws sold in a single email without reading like a list of four things
Boarding-pass call to action carrying the reservation line and the address, so the reply is a phone call not a click-through
Built to survive Outlook and Gmail, table-based, assets embedded, no dependency on remote image loading
