What are the delivery apps taking from you?

Put in your own numbers. No email, no signup, nothing sent anywhere. The maths happens in your browser.

01 Your delivery orders
02 If you took them directly

— Straight answers

Do the delivery apps really take 30%?

Between 15 and 30 percent in Canada, depending on the plan you are on. Pickup-only tiers sit near 15, standard delivery around 25, and the full-service tiers reach 30. Ontario capped commissions temporarily during the pandemic, which is why many owners remember a lower number than they are paying now.

Should I leave the delivery apps entirely?

No, and we would not advise it. The platforms bring you customers who have never heard of you, and that is worth paying for. The waste is paying a commission on your regulars, who would have ordered from you anyway. Direct ordering is about keeping those, not replacing the apps.

What does direct ordering actually cost?

A restaurant site with direct ordering runs $4,200 to $8,500 depending on menu size and whether it has to talk to your POS. There is no percentage afterwards. You own it.

Will my kitchen have to watch another screen?

It should not have to. We integrate with the POS you already run, so a direct order lands in the same ticket queue as everything else. GappeBaj in Scarborough runs this way through Clover.

How long does it take to build?

Four weeks for a normal restaurant site. Add a week or two if the menu is large or the POS integration is unusual.
